Dave James Deane

Having graduated from Bristol Vet School, Dave moved to South Wales and initially worked as a mixed vet for 4 years. Following this, he moved to small animal practice where his passion for dentistry grew. Prior to a UK dentistry certificate being available he attended several endodontics courses in Sweden and over the past 6 years he has gained a Postgraduate Certificate in Small Animal Dentistry, become an RCVS recognised Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Dentistry, and is about to complete an advanced small animal dentistry and oral surgery certificate. At the start of 2025, Dave set up his own company, Deane Veterinary Dentistry, and splits his time between teaching and clinical work both locally, in South Wales, and in a referral hospital near Manchester.
