Rebecca qualified from Cambridge and after a short time in General Practice returned to academia to undertake a PhD on canine Mucosal Immune Responses at the RVC. Subsequently she completed residency and specialist training becoming a RCVS Recognised Specialist in Internal Medicine. After residency Rebecca moved to the North West to found and develop an Internal Medicine Service at a busy multidisciplinary referral hospital. She currently works both as a Senior Lecturer in Small animal Internal Medicine at the new Veterinary School in Lancashire (University of Lancashire) and at Peninsula Referrals a small independent specialist led practice on the Wirral.
