This session will:

• Review current practice in small animal diabetic management.
• Explain how quality of life can be improved by accurate and timely diagnosis of diabetes and it complications.
• Provide information on newer methods of monitoring.
• Review therapeutics available , including insulin types and the feline glucose reuptake inhibitors.
