This session will:

Review current practice in small animal diabetic management

  • Explain how quality of life can be improved by accurate and timely diagnosis of diabetes and it complications
  • Provide information on newer methods of monitoring
  • Review therapeutics available , including insulin types and the feline glucose reuptake inhibitors
