Alwenna Jenkins

Alwenna is a Welsh speaker Registered Veterinary Nurse with experience working both in the UK and overseas. Alwenna spent time working in Sydney, Australia, before returning home to work as a locum veterinary nurse. This gave her the opportunity to broaden her clinical experience, build confidence, and nurse a wide range of interesting and complex cases. Alwenna now works at Aberystwyth University as a Clinical Skills Tutor within the Veterinary Nursing department. In this role, Alwenna is passionate about sharing her practical experience, skills, and knowledge with the next generation of Registered Veterinary Nurses. Supporting students as they develop confidence and competence in clinical practice is incredibly rewarding.
