Becca graduated from the University of Bristol in 2010 and began her career in mixed animal practice in West Wales, where she developed a strong interest in farm animal preventive medicine. In 2020, she commenced a PhD at Aberystwyth University, focusing on the application of precision livestock farming technologies to improve health and welfare in ruminant species. Becca is now a Lecturer in Veterinary Science at Aberystwyth School of Veterinary Science. Alongside her academic role, she contributes to the Animal Health Advance programme, supporting and training veterinary professionals across Wales to implement the Animal Health Improvement Cycle in partnership with their clients.
