After qualifying from the University of Bristol Vet School in the summer of 1990, Keith joined the farm animal team in a mixed practice in the central south of England where he remained for thirty years, after which he moved seventy miles west to join a large farm animal only practice in which he continues to work around Somerset, Dorset and East Devon. Keith is a Diplomat of the European College of Bovine Health Management and is recognised as a specialist in Cattle Health and Production by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. He is widely published in the veterinary and farming press and has spoken on matters pertaining to bovine health both in the UK and abroad. Keith has particular interests in the diagnosis and management of single-agent infectious diseases of cattle, especially TB, Johne’s disease and BVD, and in Suckler Herd Health.
