Treatment of end stage heart failure cases is very challenging; there is very limited evidence-based medicine, many owners have different expectations and quality of life of the owners and dogs becomes paramount. In this talk we are going to discuss all the options available, discuss the evidence for their use and discuss the new drugs that we are using in clinic. Many of these dogs can live for another 12-18 months of good quality of life and can be very rewarding to treat. This is a really practical talk with lots of case examples.
