Darrell Abernethy is head and chair of the Aberystwyth School of Veterinary Sciences, the first of its kind in Wales. He has qualifications in veterinary science (BVSc), social science (MSSc) and epidemiology (PG diploma; PhD) and has worked in Northern Ireland, Southern Africa and Wales. Darrell. He is passionate about veterinary training and the role such a school and the veterinary profession can have in impacting society, not only in Wales but globally.
