Gareth Mulligan

Took the long way round to veterinary practice following a degree in biological sciences at Reading University and having graduated from Bristol vet school went straight into mixed vet practice where I have remained ever since. From the onset ,I have always had a keen interest in preventative vet medicine and have tried to integrate new services into farm practice ,from bull fertility testing to heifer pelvic measuring and health planning. I am a director with Afon vets, I have been a director of Iechyd Da for over ten years and now act as chairman, as well as a role on BVD Cymru TAG group but being a vet practitioner will always be the core job for me.
