Lucy studied at the Royal Veterinary College and, after graduating in 2020, spent nearly 4 years across both mixed animal and farm-only clinical practice in West Wales. She joined APHA as a Veterinary Investigation Officer in Carmarthen in 2024. Prior to this she studied Zoology at the University of Leicester and was one of the mammal keepers at Jersey Zoo, caring for many endangered species, including the Andean Bears.
