Claire Jones

I graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2011 and started work as a mixed practitioner in North Wales. During my time in mixed practice I specialised in beef and sheep work and started and ran a successful flock health club. After marrying a Welsh farmer and having children I decided to take a position at Wales Veterinary Science Centre as a Veterinary Disease Investigator and have now been in the role for two years. As well as farm animal postmortems my position also involves providing CPD for vets in practice and teaching young vet students at the University of Aberystwyth.
