Burtons Veterinary Equipment are bringing their sell-out equipment workshops to the Vets Cymru programme this July! Providing expert advice on patient monitoring and mastering your endoscopy essentials.
These FREE to attend workshops will be delivered in Penbryn Medrus 3 and are open to the whole veterinary team. A small group setting will enable the Burtons experts to deliver in-depth, tailored demonstrations, provide 1:1 advice, and enable opportunities to practice with the equipment on show.

Endoscopy essentials: Mastering your equipment
Thursday 2 July, 10:00-10:50 & Friday 3 July, 11:40-12:30 | Penbryn Medrus 3
In this workshop, our team of experts will guide you through the practicalities of planning and preparingfor endoscopy procedures. We’ll cover how to select and set up your equipment and instruments effectively, while exploring common challenges such as poor image quality or reduced air and water flow, and how to troubleshoot them quickly and confidently. The session will also focus on how to best support your vet, with hands-on demonstrations and practice using endoscopy equipment for the safe and effective removal of foreign bodies.

Get to know your Multi Parameter patient monitor
Thursday 2 July,16:10-17:00 & Friday 3 July, 13:40-14:30 | Penbryn Medrus 3
Learn top tips and advice from our patient monitoring experts on everything from how to use your ECG clips to using pulse oximetry's plethysmograph. Our training will cover setting up alarm profiles, navigating the menu, and configuring various screens. UMEC monitors will be used for the demonstrations, but we will also have an Edan X12 and Lightning multiparameter monitor at hand.
